Talk to you close family and friends, try to get a number of "for sure"
attendees. You'll need this number to get a group quote.

Choose resort (check first if they can accommodate a group wedding,
children etc.)
Get quotes for group travel package to lock in your prices, this gives
all guests time to book.
Choose either resort or wedding planning company to plan the wedding.
Order invitations and save the date cards if necessary.
Wedding dress and bridesmaid dresses to be ordered.
Get written confirmation of location, day time etc. from planner.
Order your gifts for the guests.
Visit your hairdresser, and makeup artist and get them to do a trial
run, and take a picture.
Choose your wedding party.
